Why Dar es Salaam Matters
Dar es Salaam Swahili is the formal standard — the official language of Tanzania's government, courts, and media. Kenya Swahili is a different register, with distinct vocabulary, slang, and cadence. Most Swahili freelancers you'll find online are Kenya-based.
